I was watching a TV series Criminal Minds, An FBI Profiler JJ Jareau was been tormented by someone who almost broke her mind, spirit, and faith in herself. This person was telling her how he was going to take over JJ’s life and make her life miserable. The tactic is the same my people, Satan uses this technique to speak to our spirit to let us give in to frustration, envy, lack of funds, missed opportunities, death, or any negative circumstance.
God wants us to have sound minds.
We have to renew our mind always
We have to keep the word of God in our heart always.
We have to read our bible, know His words and speak them back to him.
We need to know that the we have to put on the whole armor of God according to Ephesians 6: 10-18 : 10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
When we stand our ground rooted in God we will not be easily swayed by the devices of the enemy.
God’s word says we are inscribed by the palm of his hand. If something is inscribed, like the carving of one’s name on wood, it is impossible to return the wood back to how it used to be before the carving. For those who have tribal marks on their skin, it is impossible to remove the marks; makeup cannot cover them. Branded animals cannot be unbranded, no matter how much you try there will be marks. You cannot completely remove a tattoo! Similarly, God has branded us, we are His, so we have to be strong and stand our ground rooted in His word!
